Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Sport Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches.
The Sport Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered.
Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount.
The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
Sport Coordinators are responsible for setting up fields/courts, assisting coaches, interacting with players, maintaining a safe playing environment, ensuring the i9 Philosophy is upheld, overseeing the game schedule, creating a positive environment for players/coaches/parents, and clearing fields/courts at the end of the day.
A qualified Sport Coordinator should posses the following qualities:
Sport-specific expertise in Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, and,or T-ball
Excellent communication skills
Ability to efficiently solve problems
Highly motivated self-starter
Ability to motivate and manage others (i.
e.
coaches)
Extremely reliable and responsible
Ability to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
Superior customer service skills
Ability to work Saturdays for the entire season
Be able to lift 40 pounds
Must be 16 years or older to apply
