*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Therapeutics Recreation Coordinator to join our team.
As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities and programs for our community members.
Your role will involve coordinating schedules, managing equipment and supplies, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
*Duties:*
- Plan and coordinate a variety of recreational activities, such as sports leagues, fitness classes, arts and crafts workshops, and special events
- Develop and implement program schedules and ensure activities are well-structured, engaging and inclusive for a diverse population of participations
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff or volunteers assisting with recreational programs
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies needed for recreational activities
- Ensure the safety of participants by enforcing rules and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to community members by addressing inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments or organizations to organize joint recreational events or initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements

*Minimum Qualifications:*
• A Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, education, or related field and two years of experience in therapeutic recreation is highly desired; OR sufficient education and experience to demonstrate competency sufficient to meet the requirements of this position.
• Eligibility and availability to pursue additional training and certification programs in therapeutic recreation programming.
• Current driver’s license.
This is a paid position with competitive compensation based on education, training and experience.
