What are the job duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare center
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues in a positive and constructive manner
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
What skills will the ideal candidate bring:
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of preschool curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to work with students of various ages and educational backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Experience in toddler care, caregiving, nannying, or special education is a plus
