The responsibilities include
All accounting and financial reporting, including general bookkeeping and data entry in compliance with DCAA, GAAP, and the FAR
Annual budgeting preparation and forecasts
Contract Pricing
Ownership of financial audit(s) and review processes
Monthly Indirect rate calculations and analysis
Monthly closing, including labor accruals and revenue recognition
Invoicing
Reconciliations and schedules for balance sheet accounts
Incurred cost submission
Payroll processing, including 401K uploads
Accounts payable preparation
Contract deliverables that rely on financial data
Man-hour reporting
Education/Experience/Certifications
Unanet experience highly preferred
Bachelors in Accounting and 5+ years’ experience in government contracting/cost accounting
Record keeping in accordance with DCAA and GAAP principles
Experience in WAWF
Forward pricing projections
Good communication and grammatical skills
Ability to read contracts and determine deliverable as they relate to accounting and finance functions.
