EO Solutions is actively seeking a self-motivated and meticulous Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this pivotal role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will efficiently manage daily accounting operations, engage in complex billing/reporting tasks, and contribute to diverse accounting projects.
A significant focus of this position is on monthly bookkeeping tasks, along with opportunities to expand knowledge in different facets of our business, such as proposal support, preparation of incurred cost submissions, indirect rate calculations, and conducting book-to-bill analyses.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Execute efficient management of monthly accounting functions, including cash and treasury oversight, accounts payable, billing, indirect rate analysis, and payroll management.
* Conduct thorough verification, allocation, and reconciliation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, project ledger, and other subsidiary accounts.
* Manage corporate credit card accounts and scrutinize expense reports.
* Supervise personal property schedules across all office locations.
* Develop and examine both standard and unique monthly accrual entries, including aspects like depreciation, prepaid expenses, PTO accrual, wage accrual, etc.
* Maintain accounting records in compliance with U.
S.
GAAP standards.
* Generate accurate accounting reports and ensure the provision of auditable cost accounting data, backed by comprehensive documentation and correct accounting transactions.
* Evaluate existing processes to enhance efficiency in the accounting closing process.
*Qualifications:*
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
* Proficiency in Unanet is highly desirable.
* Experience with Federal Government contract types is essential.
* High-level expertise in Excel.
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and MS Teams is also beneficial.
* Comprehensive understanding of the accounting cycle is preferred, along with meticulous attention to detail and robust analytical abilities.
* Familiarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles and/or experience in calculating indirect rates is advantageous.
