Job Summary: Assist the Accounting Manager with basic accounting functions to include invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, contract management, and basic office duties for a small but growing government contractor.
Duties:
Enter in accounts payable and pay bills as they become due.
Assist with monthly invoicing of government contracts.
Monitor funding and hours remaining on government contracts.
Assist Senior management with accounting projects.
Complete basic office duties such as copying and filing.
Perform other tasks as required by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Working towards Accounting Degree
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Excel
Experience with QuickBooks and/or eFAACT a plus
This position will start out as a part-time position and can turn into a full-time position for the right candidate.
