Davidson Homes is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Financial Analyst position in our corporate office.
Primarily responsible for analyzing financial and operational data for key business areas and providing support for business modeling, forecasting, and market analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze the company’s financial results and progress against key performance indicators
Develop and maintain business intelligence tools for field and corporate teams
Implement best practices and process improvements for corporate accounting
Complete ad hoc analysis that provides visibility and improves company performance
Brainstorm ideas with the management team to help guide business analysis
Build reports for company executives leveraging data models and queries
Provide ongoing training and support that improves the usability and impact of our analysis
Compile financial and operational data for third party and external auditor requests
Management Responsibilities:
Mentor, coach, and provide feedback amongst the corporate team.
Reports directly to the Davidson Homes Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
Provides coaching to peers and senior team members related to use of business intelligence tools and best practices
Required Education:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Data Analytics or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with a desire to further develop skills
Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Accounting Principles, and Forecasting
Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with programming and/or visualization tools is preferred
