Description
Responsible for identifying gaps in their internal user’s data experience and bridging them by working with the data and analytics team.
Drive the prioritization of projects and overall vision to develop an organization’s internal capacity to effectively operationalize data.
Responsible for data democratization and increasing the time to value for the data itself.
Design, build and manage the cross-functional development of the data solution, or a suite of specific data tools, to serve multiple customers.
Manage the plan, conceptualization, configuration, and build of solutions that solve common challenges or pain points, using technological tools or programs, to meet business requirements in accordance with Business Environment strategy.
Ensure short-term and long-term business needs are considered in the design and development.
Work effectively in both independent and team environments ensuring all deliverables are met.
Requires up to 10% travel
Qualifications
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen
Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Logistics, or Business Management and 6 years of applicable experience or a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Logistics, or Business Management with 3 years of experience in project management and administrative assistance
Strong general computer science knowledge
Experience designing and overseeing the development/sustainment of data-centric solutions including: reconciliations, categorization algorithms, anomaly detection, audit data populations, and other analyses
Experience translating business processes to underlying data systems
Preferred Experience
Direct experience with OSD Advana and/or Army Systems such as GFEBS or LMP
Experience with migration between multiple visualization tools.
Experience with DataBricks for data-centric solutions
Skilled at designing and developing relational databases
