Come join our growing Sanitation Team! Apply today! About our Department: The Sanitation Division is charged with the responsibility of providing garbage collection to residential and commercial solid waste customers.
It is also responsible for the collection of trash and yard waste as well as bulky waste for Huntsville’s residential solid waste customers.
Routing and Billing Specialist Position Overview: This is technical work in formulating and maintaining computer databases and systems for routing, mapping, billing, reporting and inventory purposes.
Work involves responsibility for establishing a database to maintain auto-cart inventory and customer locations.
Work also involves responsibility for maintaining a current billing database of customers receiving sanitation services and coordinating billing activities with the utility department.
Employee is also responsible for verifying billing invoices and records from the solid waste disposal authority and for preparing computer generated reports and charts.
