Description
Internal Controls / Risk Management Internal Controls (RMIC) (formerly MICP) services or audit remediation and sustainment services for the Department of Defense.
Supports the Army Material Command RMIC/OMB A-123 Team.
Perform business process risk assessments and design risk-based test procedures.
Request and review documentation to identify controls and/or test that controls are in place and functioning.
Work effectively in both independent and team environments ensuring all deliverables are met.
Up to 10% Travel Required
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
3+ years of applicable experience.
Experience with Internal Controls / Risk Management Internal Controls (RMIC) ((formerly Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP)) services or audit remediation and sustainment services within DoD, Federal Government agency or large company.
Development of business process risk assessments and design risk-based test procedures.
Preparation of OMB Circular A-123 assessment documents, kick-off meeting materials, and project plans/timeline.
Performing end-to-end walkthroughs of business processes, documenting business processes and controls, testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and reporting on deficiencies.
Reviewing documentation to identify controls and/or test that controls are in place and functioning.
End-to-end walkthroughs of business processes, documenting business processes and controls, testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and reporting on deficiencies.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Direct Experience with OSD Advana and/or Army Systems such as GFEBS or LMP
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
