Job Summary
We are seeking a Cost/Price Analyst for a full-time, on-site position with a Federal customer in Huntsville, AL.
The selected candidate will provide significant support to Government-led procurement teams to acquire services.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist contracting officers in conducting cost analysis on price proposals and quotes during source selections.
Experience using various analysis principals and to analyze the financial aspects of proposals.
Experience conducting market research to identify market trends for future requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
Ten (10) years of military and/or civilian federal contracting experience.
Experience using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to conduct pre-award actions.
Experience using the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) to record contract actions.
Advance skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.
Minimum Education/Training/Certifications Required:
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in federal contracting.
Advance skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
Accounting degree.
Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) Contracting Level I - or - Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level I Contracting.
Experience with the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) contract writing system.
