QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Must be proficient in written and oral communication and basic arithmetic.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Must meet Park Board employment and physical standards, which includes a background check as well as drug and alcohol screening.
Experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and aptitude to perform the defined duties.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Central Office Receptionist
Represents the Central Office and CPRST brand while greeting visitors and members.
Manages all phone calls that come into the Central Office, being sure to maintain high customer service standards at all time, routing the phone calls to the necessary staff, and documenting the necessary information needed for follow-up with the caller.
Exhibits a friendly professional demeanor at all times while serving the needs of all visitors inquiring about parks and recreation programming, events, and/or meeting with the staff.
Administers opening and closing responsibilities for the Central Office.
Helps train and supervise other receptionists.
Assists visitors with program registration using assigned software, making sure participants have all the necessary program information to get started and we have collected payment for the registered program.
Assists the Central Office Director in various clerical work duties.
Establishes and maintains sound business and financial procedures in accordance with Federal and State laws, and CPRST system policies.
Maintains professional internal and external relationships in keeping with CPRST core values.
Work hours may vary, which might include some nights and weekends, with hours varying based on time of year, events, and projects.
Exhibits a high level of professionalism and ethics working amicably with the Park Board, the Executive Director, Administrators, Personnel, and Community.
Exhibits proficiency in written and oral communication.
Attends all meetings as required by supervisors.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Accounting Assistant
Receives and records bank deposits.
Navigates and works within the Accounting Software.
Accesses and reconciles company bank accounts, verifying deposits.
Assists in cycle closes, such as month and year-end, and budget preparation and reporting as needed.
Communicates with and assists external auditors as needed.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work area is well lighted, ventilated, and heated.
Occasionally work outdoors where there is a potential to be exposed to various weather conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands for this position are mostly sedentary.
Sitting for prolong periods of time, walking, running, standing, bending, stooping, jumping, and carrying of moderately heavy items may be required.
Must be able to routinely lift twenty-five pounds of weight without assistance.
