Seasonal income tax preparer will be responsible for preparing individual income tax returns in a collaborative and technologically-progressive CPA firm environment.
Responsibilities include accurate keying of relevant source documents into professional software, identifying missing or unclear information, contacting clients by phone or secure electronic messaging, reviewing returns for accuracy, working with other team members, and general customer service.
Experience in preparing individual income tax returns is required and additional training is available depending on existing experience.
Candidates must have a strong comfort level with technology and ability to learn new technology quickly.
Candidates must be available to work in our physical office in Cullman, AL a minimum of 24 hours per week during normal business hours between 2/1 and 4/12.
This is not a remote position.
Compensation will be hourly and based on experience, production, and accuracy.
