As the Payroll Administrator, you play a critical role in supporting weekly payroll for approximately 800 hourly employees at the Pulaski, TN Plant.
The successful candidate is energetic, organized, detailed and has a strong focus on excellent client service.
Responsiblities:
* Administer full cycle, weekly payroll for approximately 800 front line employees
* Research, analyze and resolves payroll related problems or questions
* Maintain employee payroll records
* Facilitate required training of the payroll process and overall functionality for supervisors and managers
* Recommend or participate in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations
* Compile Manufacturing weekly financial information
* Reconcile Period and Yearly financial information
* Process Accounts Payable
* Process Journal Entries
* Coordinate Travel for the Site
* Adhere to all Sag/Sox guidelines
* All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred.
* 2-5 years office experience.
Prior payroll processing experience preferred.
*Physical Requirements:*
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Account Payable Administrator to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
Finger dexterity is necessary.
*Additional Requirements:*
* Must be very detailed oriented, with high level of accuracy and excellent organizational skills.
* Must be able to work well in high paced environment and work well under pressure.
* Computer proficiency with intermediate/advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Windows are required.
* Previous experience and knowledge with SAP and Kronos highly preferred.
* Must possess ability to multi task - perform multiple detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
* Team player with excellent communication skills, must possess strong work ethic, integrity, loyalty and initiative in getting things done, as well as strong organizational skills.
