*Role Description:*
A Senior Staff Auditor completes most audit tasks with little supervision.
A Senior Staff Auditor knows when and how to utilize the team to complete a client's audit.
Senior Auditors are a resource to junior auditors and part of the training strategy for the department.
Senior Auditors independently manage their client relationships.
They are effective communicators with a strong commitment to both the client, the profession, and the firm.
*Responsibilities:*
* Audit Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with audit managers to develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and risks.
* Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate audit risks, and develop appropriate procedures to address these risks effectively.
* Fieldwork Execution: Conduct audit fieldwork, which includes testing financial transactions, assessing internal controls, and gathering evidence to support audit findings.
* Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on audit progress, and address any audit-related questions or concerns.
Maintain good communication with staff, managers, and partners to make sure that all work is being performed in an accurate and timely manner and to ensure that the work process continues in an organized, efficient, and professional manner.
* Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends to enhance audit quality and effectiveness.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA certification preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant auditing experience.
* Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
* Proficiency in auditing software and tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to upholding professional ethics and integrity in all aspects of the job.

Pay: $62,000.
