Senior Financial Analyst Job Purpose: This position will support the Director of Inventory Governance in the day to day operations, related financial duties and monthly close process.
Guide balance sheet analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; provide trends; explain processes and techniques and recommend actions.
Consolidate and analyze financial data.
Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve performance of tasks.
This role will have exposure to senior leaders, so strong communication skills and confidence is critical.
This role has tight timelines so need to be highly organized.
Nature of Duties: ·Regular and ad-hoc reporting based on management needs ·Review of various Balance sheet accounts quarterly ·Preparation of monthly cycle count results ·Preparation of year end PI recommendations, tracking dates, exceptions, gathering results.
·Oracle Global Ops Finance OUR admin ·Periodic Access Review (PAR) to ensure segregation of duties.
·Create and consolidate reports, templates, and training on templates/reports.
·Review policies and manage policy changes for Global Operations Finance.
·Communication with plants of timelines, results, collecting data.
·Consolidating data monthly/quarterly for presentation to executive management and auditors.
·Preparation of qtr end management reports, PBCs for internal/external auditors.
·Some project management with IT to help automate financial processes Education and Experience: ·Minimum of five years' financial management experience ·While accounting knowledge is required, the majority of the responsibilities for this role will be analytical in nature ·Advanced knowledge of Excel (read, create, and edit macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting, create and edit file readers, extensive formulas to search data in different files.
·Experience with Oracle is a plus.
