Join our team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper at Preservation Company, a prominent architectural antique retail store.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to manage various financial aspects of our business.

\*\*Responsibilities:\*\*
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll taxes
- Manage retail sales tax reporting and filing
- Handle bill payments accurately and on time
- Generate and send invoices to customers
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle accounts payable and maintain vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Work with QuickBooks to track financial transactions
- Assist in producing financial reports for management
- Perform additional tasks related to bookkeeping and financial management as needed
\*\*Requirements:\*\*
- Prior experience in bookkeeping and financial management
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
-Proficiency in Excel
- Good understanding of payroll processes and taxes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to occasionally assist with other tasks, such as writing company letters or working the cash register at the front counter

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 14 to 20 hours of work per week.
The right candidate has the potential to transition to a full-time role, especially if they exhibit exceptional online sales skills.
