Retail Experience Cashier

Specific Duties: Demonstrates knowledge of the system and is able to answer customer questions Is able to interact with customers and provide a positive experience for them Answers or gets answers to customer questions as appropriate with minimal or no delay Dealing directly with customers, providing direction to resolve any issues on daily basis Enter customer information and payment types into the system efficiently and with no or minimal mistakes Issues sales receipts to customers as well as files the sales in the appropriate locations Reads and records total sales transactions and verifies against cash, check, credit card to balance at the end of the day Constantly provides services to anyone who may be waiting to be checked out and never turns a customer or product specialist away Maintain ticket accuracy with margin of error of 5% or lower Keeps area neat and clean before, during, and after scheduled shift Able to stay productive during down time
