When it comes to electric guitars, the Gibson ES-335 is easily one of the most legendary designs.
Born in the late 1950s, much of the design of the ES-335 has gone unchanged throughout the decades.
This Gibson Memphis ES-335 Traditional is no exception.
However, this semi-hollowbody electric guitar does add touches such as titanium saddles, MHS humbucking pickups, and an ABR-1 bridge to bring the instrument into the modern day.
Add in the Memphis ES-335 Traditional's vintage-correct wiring, and you have a semi-hollowbody electric guitar with the best of yesterday and today.
A semi-hollowbody that is true to the original.
The first ES-335s that rolled off the Gibson production line have truly achieved legendary status.
The warmth of their semi-hollowbody design and the versatility of their two humbucking pickups — it's a magical recipe that made the original ES-335s sought-after guitars among collectors who are often happy to pay astronomical prices for instruments in good condition.
Odds of even finding a "block" 'inlay ES-335 from the 1960s today are almost zero.
The next best thing is to get your hands on this Gibson Memphis ES-335 Traditional.
It has the looks, the sound, and the star power of the real deal.
Legendary tone from alnico humbuckers.
Tonal excellence is yours when you plug the Gibson Memphis ES-335 Traditional into your favorite tube amplifier.
Loaded with a pair of MHS alnico pickups, each with its own volume and tone controls, this ES-335 will let you dial in chiming country tones as easily as savagely distorted rock tones.
The Alnico III neck pickup gives you classic hollowbody-style tones for everything from smooth jazz to dirty blues.
Flip to the Alnico II bridge pickup, and you'll command sounds from bright and clean to raw and mean.
Alnico pickups are known for their ability to deliver a wide range of tones that will work for any music style.
Handcrafted in the Gibson factory on Beale Street.
Nobody makes a semi-hollowbody guitar like Gibson.
This superb ES-335 was handcrafted in Gibson's Memphis Custom Shop on Beale Street for quality craftsmanship you can count on, from a city that knows how blues should sound.
As previously stated, Guitar production at the legendary Gibson factory on Beale Street was discontinued in 2018.
This Gibson ES-335 Traditional 2018, in Antique Faded Cherry, was made just a few months before guitar production ceased.
