Primary Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be responsible for leading and serving the organizational needs of 3-6 employees.
The Section Manager will report personnel coverage and administrative issues to the Branch Manager weekly or as required.
The Section Manager will be responsible for interfacing with the Branch Manager to coordinate work for section employees and supervise their performance.
The Section Manager will write and conduct annual performance reviews of their direct reports as well as deliver guidance and feedback to their employees throughout the year.
The Section Manager will conduct other leadership functions as directed by their branch manager and other division leaders.
This position is primarily a technical engineering function (approximately 80 percent) along with a direct line management responsibility (approximately 20 percent), but direct line management capability is the primary criterion for selection to this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited school
At least 4+ years experience in mechanical analysis or 2+ years with MS degree.
Proficient with structural, dynamics, thermal or fluids system analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with experience as analysts in the Mechanical Design & Analysis Dept are preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.
00 - $146,875.
