Job ID: 2402220 Location: HUNTSVILLE, AL, US Date Posted: 2024-02-12 Category: Program Management Subcategory: Project Analyst Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Travel: Yes, 50 % of the Time Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: TS/SCI Potential for Remote Work: No Description SAIC is seeking a Flight Test Planning Lead in Huntsville, AL to support NSWC Crane and the Multi-Service Advanced Capabilities Test Bed (MACH-TB) Program in developing rapid-cadence, affordable flight-testing opportunities to quickly advance the Technology Readiness Level of our nation’s hypersonic technologies.
This individual will work collaboratively with various multi-disciplinary technical working groups and stakeholder organizations (i.
e.
, MDA, Navy CPS, Army AHPO, AFRL, and other industry and govt agencies) to understand weapon system program plans and capability development milestones, establish a program roadmap, and develop and maintain an integrated test plan.
Personnel with experience in one or more of the following areas are needed to address the program’s complex test and evaluation requirements: risk management, requirements management, test planning and design, missile or hypersonic development flight testing; flight test security, and pre and post-test data analysis.
The Test Planning Lead will: Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and organizations to obtain test requirements and play payload and launch vehicle allocations.
Identify, manage, and verify dependencies between facility and system-level requirements.
Identify, generate and manage schedules, requirements and other documentation in support of flight test operations.
Prepare decision-quality materials such as briefings and supporting documentation for informational papers, senior level reviews, and mission milestone decision meetings.
Work with the Integrated Event Test Teams and other element leads to schedule, plan, manage, and execute Flight Test Phase Readiness Reviews.
Identify and resolve program and Stakeholder scheduling issues to meet test execution objectives and overall Mach-TB program objectives.
Synchronize logistics with protocol, security, facilities, international affairs and public affairs staff, conducting meetings to communicate event information and to ensure all organizations are prepared to provide support.
Collaborate with the test event System Mission Managers, Integrated Event Test Teams, and various program partners to help ensure that the flight tests follow the flight test CONOPS in regard to documentation, reviews and schedule.
Resolve issues affecting flight testing and perform schedule de-confliction.
Assist in the development and coordination of daily operational schedules in support of on-time/on-readiness mission execution.
Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors and ten (10 years or more related experience; master's and eight (8) years or more related experience.
5+ years in Flight Test T&E (MDA experience preferred).
Strong attention-to-detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully as part of a diverse team in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite.
Excellent communication, outstanding initiative, aggressive problem-solving and task management skills as well as excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork.
CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret security clearance.
Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI.
