Requirement & Verification(R&V) Systems Engineering Branch Manager Why This is an Exciting Role: As a R&V Branch Manager at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for working in an Agile, Digital Engineering environment to develop and integrate physical, functional, and program interfaces and to define system enhancements to the GMD Weapon System.
The specific tasks associated with this position are: • Manages a team of engineers to define high-level functional and performance requirements and associated verification methods.
• Manages systems analysis, decomposition, and derivation of lower-level requirements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
• Develop risks, issues, and opportunities related to R&V activities.
• Sets clear priorities to meet customer/stakeholder and business goals, to include max award fee capture.
• Support Earned Value Management.

Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.
g.
Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g.
PhD, Master +3 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Required Qualifications: Experience with system design in areas of system interfaces engineering environments.
Experience leading and applying systems engineering processes and principles.
Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.
The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and sustainment.
Demonstrated leadership experience This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.
S.
Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in DOORs, Cameo, and SysML.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
