Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Space Launch Systems team in Huntsville, Alabama.
Oversees the suppliers responsibility to design, development, qualification, testing and integration of new supplier systems and components.
Will also play a critical role in managing our supplier relationships, the delivery of high-quality products while contributing to the success of our space exploration mission and managing the end-to-end supplier program management process.
Position Responsibilities: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and project management, to define program requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
Proactively identifies and mitigates potential risks and issues, implementing appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
Monitors supplier performance, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost targets.
Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
Develops current and projected work statement.
Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
Develops and executes work movement plans.
This position is hybrid.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

More than 3 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
More than 3 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.

More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
