Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Maintenance Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.
Position Overview: The selected Maintenance Logistics Management Analyst will become part of the Northrop Grumman Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) logistics team.
The selected applicant will perform as a Logistics Management Analyst and provide Maintenance Engineering support for Northrop Grumman programs, to help develop maintenance procedures and ensure requirements are being addressed and accomplished.
Will work with other Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) personnel, system engineers, technical publication teams, configuration management, to develop Logistics Product Data (LPD) for the NGI program.
Essential Functions: Ensures that equipment is properly designed, selected, and integrated based on program maintenance and supportability concepts.
Support establishment of maintenance program to ensure high availability and readiness.
Provide technical guidance to engineering and support functions to ensure maintenance philosophy are considered in design decision processes.
Knowledge of standard DoD maintenance practices and processes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings for logistics product development.
Perform maintenance tasks analysis and develop applicable maintenance tasks for supported equipment in prescribed format.
Support development of Repair Parts Special Tools Lists (RPSTL).
Communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives.
Research and understand engineering changes to determine impact to system provisioning and maintenance documentation.
Support development and integration of product support analysis databases based on GEIA-STD 0007.

Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either a Maintenance Logistics Management Analyst – Level 2 or Principal Maintenance Logistics Management Analyst – Level 3.
Level 2 - Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 3 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 1 years of related experience.
Familiarity with Logistics Product Development (LPD).
Experience in development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, concepts, and methodologies.
Knowledge of logistic elements; supportability, maintainability and logistics support.
Strong Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical team and customer personnel.
The ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time to customer and Northrop Grumman locations.

Proficiency using Microsoft (MS) Office product skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel; knowledge/experience using MS Access and Project Experience using the following Web applications/Software programs: SharePoint; Teamcenter, etc.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
