Job Purpose:
Project Manager to lead multiple Product Development Projects.
The Project Manager will be tasked with leadership of multiple projects to successful conclusion.
Project Management begins at Proposal receipt and continues through successful delivery of project.
The Project manager will be responsible for responding to customer and management inquires in a timely manner.
Ability to develop and articulate problem resolution to project team members and management.

Plan project execution and develop project management plans including schedules, budgets, risk management to attainment of project scope
Maintain project schedules and report status to customers and company management
Manage project budgets and prepare cost status reports
Manage project risk including risk identification, management of reserves and coordination of mitigation and contingency plans
Manage project scope and ensure the quality of project deliverables
Manage staffing requirements to meet project objectives
Effectively communicate with Customers, Project Team Members and Company Leadership
Review/approve project deliverables/documentation
Support the capture strategy for DoD opportunities
Develop and maintain customer, supplier, and partner relationships
Skills/Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in project management
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Defense Acquisition University Equivalent
Highly effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a technical/engineering team as well as work independently
Entire Life Cycle Management project management experience
Self-starter, willingness to take initiative is critical for this position
Desired Skills
Project Management experience with defense products and programs
Knowledge of DoD Industry and the defense acquisition process
Knowledge of electronic warfare, avionics, comms, surveillance, or radar systems
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical field with Software Development
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Defense Acquisition University Equivalent
