PQDR Manager

Avion Solutions Inc.
, an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a PQDR Manager to support the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD).
This position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities/Duties: Monitor Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) for incoming Category I Product Quality Deficiency Report (CAT I PQDRs) assigned to the CH-47 CAT I Action Point for processing.
Review incoming PQDRs and coordinate with assigned engineers and leadership within SRD Cargo to determine if teardown analysis is required.
Coordinate investigation funding requests between the government customer and various analysis facilities.
Process assigned PQDRs within PDREP to Support Points for investigation as required.
Open and maintain assigned PQDR tasks within the SRD Task Tracking System (TTS), updating assigned engineering groups and closing the task required.
Review investigation findings and coordinate with cognizant engineers to create a closing response to the PQDR.
Create and maintain documentation to facilitate exhibit shipment and final disposition.
Coordinate with the Cargo Publication office to process publication change request forms (2028s) between the publication office and SRD Cargo.
Assign 2028s to SRD engineers for review and respond to the publications office once completed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience: HS degree + 13 Years total experience.
Army Aviation maintenance background.
Familiar with Army Aviation TAMMS-A.
Proficient with Office Products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
US travel only.
Preferred Qualifications: 10+ Years Army Aviation Experience CH-47 maintenance experience.
Familiar with Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs).
Familiar with Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP).
Familiar with SRD Task Tracking System (TTS).
