Set Solutions, a Trace3 Company is working exclusively with a client in need of a full time IT Compliance Analyst and Lead IT Compliance Analyst in the Huntsville, AL area.
\*\*Please note this position is with Trace3 but with one of our valued end clients.
\*\* As an IT Compliance Analyst with strong NIST experience, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will work closely with various teams to assess and enhance our IT systems' security, develop and implement compliance policies, and monitor our adherence to industry standards, particularly those defined by NIST.
Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our security posture and maintaining a strong culture of compliance.
*Key Responsibilities:* *NIST Framework Compliance: *Lead and actively participate in NIST-based compliance initiatives.
Ensure that the organization adheres to NIST cybersecurity guidelines, specifically NIST Special Publication 800-53.
*Policy Development: *Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies and procedures in line with NIST standards.
Continuously review and update security policies to align with evolving threats and compliance requirements.
*Risk Assessment and Management: *Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.
Work with relevant teams to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
*Compliance Monitoring: *Regularly assess and monitor the organization's IT systems to ensure compliance with NIST standards.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of compliance-related documents and actions.
*Audit and Reporting: *Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance audits.
Generate comprehensive reports detailing the results of compliance assessments and audits.
*Security Awareness and Training: *Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of NIST-based compliance.
*Incident Response: *Contribute to incident response planning and execution.
Assist in investigating and resolving security incidents as necessary.
*Qualifications:* * Relevant certifications (e.
g.
, CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
* Proven experience working with NIST frameworks and NIST Special Publication 800-53.
* In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $82,505.
38 - $145,000.
