I am selling my Definitive Technology powered - tower speakers (with built-in 12” subwoofers / LFE input) along with my DT powered-center channel (has a 8” powered sub) that is killer for all things movie / TV-watching.
Both are in perfect condition.
I’m a bit fast & loose with my audio-video spending , and am trying something different after being exclusive to DT speakers for almost 20 years and upgrading inside DT along the way.
Note that these have always been plugged into a surge protector.
Please read reviews on these speakers, fans are die-hard as am I :

These are top of the line / flagship speakers from their previous generation of speakers.
Their current line is the same quality in different packaging.
This is something they are notorious for - why mess with such a great product that people love ? If you were to buy the flagship line now (ie.
powered subs in each speaker , add the Atmos module), you are looking at a price-tag of $7500.

The bi-polar / envelope sound (speakers in front and back of speakers) , along with the great bass extension make these so awesome and super-clear.
And the volume these can be played at with no listener fatigue is wild, so much fun! As I said before, the center speaker (which is everything when watching TV / movies) is crystal clear - just think of a $1500 speaker dedicated solely to sound … vs.
some cheap soundbar setup with sounds awful and if full of electronic technology, there is no comparison.
The Atmos modules work great and blend will the other speakers and help with the Z-axis / 3D sound.
I’ve had these about 6 years (before that, had the PREVIOUS version - not their flagship, for 10+ years no issues)
Power cables, manuals, etc.
included.
I paid around $5000 on a sale … again, equivalent set today is $7500.
There’s no reason these shouldn’t last 20+ years if properly cared for.
Thanks,
Jim
