Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties.

General Function:
Provide current and prospective student services including but not limited to processing applications for admission, maintaining integrity of student records, and providing customer service
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree earned from a regionally accredited institution, one year or more of experience with Banner and one year or more of experience within an Admissions and Records Office
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process online and paper applications for admission.
• Process all admissions requirements documents, including High School Transcripts, GED/ HiSet, Proof of Citizenship, Immunizations, and Selective Service paperwork, test scores, and dynamic forms.
Scan and Index the submitted documents.
Update student records as appropriate.
Communicates with High School Counselors, Students, and Motlow personnel regarding student files.
• Train front line staff at other campus locations to accurately enter applications and process student paperwork as needed.
Assist with college-wide events, such as Registration, Graduation, Orientation, Open House.
• Review and correct all student information reports.
• Process outgoing transcripts, letters of certification, enrollment verifications, daily mail, and Debt Agreements.
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of confidentiality statutes and policies as they apply to FERPA and assigned programs
• Maintains current knowledge of Motlow catalog, Admissions policy, and programs of study to ensure accurate and effective assistance to current and prospective students
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
• Strong computer skills, to include database management, word processing, creating spreadsheets, e-mail, and the internet
