Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans (using Alabama Early Learning Guidelines) and daily classroom schedule in accordance with The Creative Curriculum.
* Overall supervision and daily function of classroom of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
* Ensuring a safe and consistent child development environment.
Maintaining an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
* Providing verbal recognition to all children while providing clear and consistent expectations for behavior.
* Observing rules and regulations of not only KidTowne, but the local, state, and national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children.
* Maintaining overall appearance (adhering to dress code at all times).
* Accepting responsibility for maintaining necessary maintenance and housekeeping duties as it relates to the classroom, playground, or any common areas.
* Assisting in any other areas deemed necessary by administration.
*Hourly Rate:*
* $13-15 an Hour
Shift is 11-7, Monday-Friday, with opportunity for overtime on weekends.
_Experience Preferred_
*Qualifications:*
* Be able to work Monday-Friday
* Must be reliable and dependable
* Meet all DHR Childcare Licensing Requirements
* Pass ABI/FBI Background Check/TB Test/a physical
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
* Complete required DHR Training (will be provided)
* CPR Certification (will provide if needed)
