Burritt on the Mountain is seeking a part-time *Barnyard Worker *to assist with the care and keeping of farm animals housed in a historic park.
These hours are in the morning, leaving plenty of time for school and other jobs and activities.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Feeding, cleaning, and caretaking of various livestock
· Moving, setting up, and preparing barnyard supplies and equipment
· Performing minor maintenance around the barnyard
Job Requirements:
· Applicants must be 19 years of age or older
· High school diploma or GED
· Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb fences
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Position requires a background check
Ideal Candidates will also have the following qualifications:
· Ability to do minor maintenance work
· Experience with equines or other large animals
· Patience and adaptability to unexpected circumstances
Position details:
· 3-15 hours per week (2-5 days, usually 1.
5 to 3 hours per day)
· Requires weekday, weekend, and holiday work
· Pay is $14.
50 per hour
