Box Truck Driver

Job Summary: The Box Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting materials in a safe manner between warehouses.
When the Box Truck Driver is not performing driving responsibilities, they will assist the Quality Department as needed with inspections and wrapping.
Duties & Responsibilities: • Loading and unloading materials in the box truck • Visual inspection of the box truck for safety before driving each day • Verifying loads for accuracy • Transporting materials in between warehouses safely • Maintaining accuracy of all paperwork required for loads • Assisting Quality Department with inspections, wrapping, and other tasks as needed • Other duties as needed or required Required Skills & Abilities: • Must have acceptable driving record and valid drivers license • Must have a valid DOT medical examiners certificate • CDL not required but preferred • Forklift experience preferred • High school diploma or equivalent required • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites • Two years of warehouse experience required • One year of previous box truck driving experience required • Must be able to comply with all DOT regulations • Must be able to comply with all company safety policies and procedures Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time • Must be able to use warehouse equipment such as pallet jack, etc.
• Must be able to climb in and out of box truck and perform all related physical requirements for loading and unloading trucks
