* As a *Call Center Representative*, you will be the first contact for individuals seeking high-quality behavioral health services.
You will handle in and outbound calls, acting as a liaison between those seeking mental health care, current patients, and IBH.
This is an *in office position* at our corporate office in Madison, AL.

*Call Center Representative Responsibilities*
* Triaging patient calls, referral sources, and administrative department inquires
* Communicating with insurance companies and/or authorization requestors
* Entering patient information into our electronic medical record system (eClinicalWorks)
* Engaging the caller to help ensure customer satisfaction and assisting them with issues/concerns related to their mental health
* Developing the knowledge of customer needs and trends to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
* Being knowledgeable about qualifications for multiple insurances.
* Scheduling appointments for patients and taking messages from incoming patient’s calls regarding health concerns or problems.
Directing those messages to the appropriate physicians and/or nurses.
* Using customer service principles and techniques to communicate with patients calmly, pleasantly, and professionally.
*Call Center Representative Job Requirements*
* High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
* Experience and proficiency with eClinicalWorks
* 2 years experience in a medical office with working knowledge of medical insurance verifications and patient scheduling
* Customer service experience preferred
* Patience and understanding for those with mental illnesses
* Bilingual expertise is a plus
* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications
* Proficiency with phones and computer systems
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability and willingness to be empathetic and an active listener.
