A Prep Cook, Entremetier, or Garde Manager accommodate guest’s needs by preparing food according to established recipes and procedures as well as following safety and sanitation guidelines with a specific focus on vegetable, drink, and/or salad prep.
We are hiring for (1) Lead and (2) additional prep team members.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Safely and
accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health, and safety standards
* Operate and maintain restaurant prep equipment such as small appliances, commercial juicers and cutters, etc.
* Complete assigned preparation work for stocking and setting up grill area
* Assists with inventories of food, supplies, and equipment as directed
* Maintains food quality standards (temperature, appearance and taste) from point of preparation through point of services
* May need to assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.
* Uphold our high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
*Job Requirements:*
* Previous experience is required – we will train you on how to make fabulous vegan food, but we also need someone who has the experience to step into this role!
* Have a current Food Handler’s Certification, or ability obtain, where applicable.
* A love for food and an eye for detail with cooking; knowing weights, measurements, and volumes (a plus if you are vegan or plant-based!)
* Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
* Knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
* Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
* Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 30 lbs.

* Must be at least 21 years old
