*Job Summary*
We have immediate openings for the Farm Clean Out Crew.
These positions are responsible for performing ground labor and assisting equipment operators in the cleaning of poultry houses and equipment.
*Job Qualifications*
· Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
· Basic understanding of machinery tears down and setup
· Standing for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
· Strong sense of personal responsibility
· Takes accountability for individual performance
· Bending and stooping repetitively throughout shift
· Work with chemicals, such as detergents, disinfectants
· Basic chemical understanding is a strong plus
· Able to withstand prolonged exposure to dry, dusty environments, the ongoing presence of farm-related smells or foul odors, and extreme climate exposure both hot and cold
· Ability to work in a damp and/or wet climate
· All required clothing and PPE are provided.
· Valid Driver’s License
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Adhering to and maintaining sanitation, bio-security, and safety practices at all times
· Following defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to properly complete tasks.
· Preparing houses for cleanout
· Emptying feeders
· Strip litter and remove all debris
· Adjust, remove, or teardown equipment as necessary
· Scrape cement floors
· Use designated chemicals to sanitized all floors, walls, slats, machinery as defined by the SOP
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and familiarity with SDS Material Safety Data Sheets
* High school degree (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
