We seek a dependable, responsible, and caring person over the age of 16 to care for our children ages 6 weeks to three years old on Sunday mornings from 8:45-11:45 a.
m.
and occasionally at special services or events.
Qualified applicants will be required to offer references, pass a background check, and complete and a brief online training course called "Safeguarding God's Children.
"
Duties:
- Work with other nursery workers and volunteers to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and other basic care needs
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's needs
Skills and experience required
- Experience in babysitting, caregiving, or working with babies and children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Proficiency in infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
