Child Care Cook

*Qualifications* * A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
* Must pass background check.
* Focused on health and safety! * Helpful! *Responsibilities* We are looking for individuals who are excited, motivated and ready to be a part of a great team! This shift is from *8am to 1pm*.
The position will include preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and one snack a day.
We need someone who already knows their way around a kitchen.
Childcare experience is a plus.
*The Cook must be a self starter.
* When you join our team as a Cook you will: * Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
* Plan and Prepare daily menus in accordance with CACFP guidelines (Breakfast, lunch, and snack).
* Complete timely and accurate documentation according to CACFP Report directly to the Center Director.
* Setting up eating areas * Serving meals * Cleaning up eating areas before and after meals (Breakfast and Lunch) * Maintain clean and Hygienic work environment Work (counters, refrigerator/ freezercarts, cabinets, floors etc.
) * Store All supplies in hygienic places * Keep and Maintain all daily and monthly records, and supporting documentation for the State Child Care Food Program * Complete all other duties as assignedHelp with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed.
