Overview:
Responsible for directing, administering and coordinating all activities of the on-site employee child care center ensuring that operations meet all state and local regulatory requirements.
Plans, implements and evaluates developmentally appropriate activities while maintaining a safe and caring learning environment.
Ensures adequate staffing and facilities to meet current and future needs.
Develops and manages center's budget and finances within established parameters.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in child care management preferably in a corporate child care facility.
Comparable combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Must have current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification for infant and child.
Additional Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing child care centers.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
Proficient in developing budgets and managing corporate finances.
